For many professional racers, making a life after hanging up their boots can be tricky. However longtime AMA pro roadracer and 2008 Formula Xtreme champ Jake Zemke is making the most out of it. After retiring from his nine-to-five life of training and scuffing knee pucks, Zemke transitioned into athlete management with Wasserman—a sports marketing and talent management company based in Southern California.

In this podcast episode, we catch up with Zemke following the final MotoAmerica racing round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. During the weekend his client and five-time AMA Superbike racing champ, Cameron Beaubier, won the final race of the season. Afterward he announced his transition to the Grand Prix racing paddock for 2021 for a shot to trade bodywork with the best of the best.
