2017 Triumph Speed Triple S

The Triumph Street Triple was introduced in late 2007, and its mean, lean naked street fighter stance immediately made it to the top of speed demons’ wishlists. It looks fast even with the kickstand down. There are three models in the family: S, R and RS.

The Triumph Street Triple is powered by a liquid-cooled 765cc in-line three-cylinder DOHC 12-valve engine kicking out 111 hp at 11,250 rpm and 54 lb-ft of torque at 9,100 rpm. It's a 6-speed, wet multi-plate chain drive transmission, with multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection with Secondary Air Injection (SAI) and electronic throttle control.

Additional features include a 31.0-in. seat height, 366-lb. curb weight, 4.6-gallon fuel tank, stainless steel 3-into-1 exhaust system with low single-sided stainless steel silencer, aluminum beam twin spar front frame with a two-piece high-pressure die cast rear, cast aluminum alloy five-spoke 17-in wheels, Showa 41mm upside down separate function forks (SFF) with 110mm front wheel travel coupled with a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock on the rear offering 124mm rear wheel travel, including adjustable preload, ABS and switchable traction control.

The Triumph Street Triple S is priced at $9,900, and comes in Phantom Black or Diablo Red. The Street Triple R is priced at $11,200 and comes in Jet Black, Crystal White or Matte Aluminum Silver, while the Street Triple RS is priced at $12,500 and comes in Phantom Black or Matte Silver Ice.
