Harley took a pretty big scalpel to its Grand American Touring line last year, imparting the most significant update ever to its bestselling Street Glide and Road Glide baggers, while also churning out hot-rodded CVO versions of the same. The two mainline tourers saw major upgrades to their styling, suspension, and electronics, with newfound motivation coming courtesy of a bigger powerplant, which added new liquid-cooled cylinder heads as well as a new cooling system. All of which is to say that for 2025, H-D is bringing the Road Glide back to the fold unchanged (and the same goes for the 2025 Street Glide).

The burly Milwaukee-Eight 117 powerplant is still arguably the 2025 Road Glide’s main attraction, doling out a healthy 105 hp and 130 lb.-ft. of torque (claimed), which is more than welcome for a bike weighing in at 838 pounds ready to ride. Also back for 2025 is the conventional 49mm Showa fork (rocking Dual Bending Valve internals) and upgraded dual rear shocks, the latter of which allow 3 inches of travel. As before, you get a pair of four-piston brake calipers and 320mm rotors upfront, with a single-piston rear caliper mated to a 300mm disc. Linked brakes manage front-to-rear application and ABS as needed.
Last year’s updates also focused on rider and passenger comfort, and the new M-8 engine offers improved heat mitigation, while the Glide’s reshaped saddle is designed to rotate the rider’s hips to a more neutral position, so riders can expect the same relief in 2025.
Big changes on the electronic front included a full suite of rider aids (including traction control and cornering ABS), a ride-by-wire throttle, and selectable ride modes, all of which are back for 2025. The dazzling 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen display continues on as does the upgraded audio system with its four-channel 200-watt amplifier and 5.25-inch Rockford Fosgate speakers.
The Road Glide’s familiar shark-nose fairing got a bit of rhinoplasty last year as well, but even with its new modern look, there’s still no mistaking its visual connection to past models even in 2025. Although there aren’t any revisions this year—except for a couple of new color options—the 2025 Road Glide still gets a pretty significant bump in price, going up to $27,999 this year (a $2,000 increase from 2024).
