Ventilation has been upgraded with improved air intakes and a removable insect filter, while the integrated Shoei-branded but Sena-sourced communication system now seamlessly fits into the helmet structure. It’s a $359.99 option, and allows you to neatly integrate Bluetooth communications into the helmet, so you can listen to music, get turn-by-turn directions, and talk on the phone.
The visor also comes with a pinlock insert, which totally mitigates fogging when you’re riding in inclement weather. This helmet retails for $899.99. It’s DOT-rated, but not ECE or Snell rated, and it comes with a five-year warranty and is made in Japan.
