Dunlop has introduced a new street-legal adventure tire with the Geomax Enduro EN91. The tire was originally designed to tackle European enduro racing courses, but comes to the US with a number of refinements for better performance both on and off road.

The tire comes with a revised tread pattern, aimed to give you more grip in the sand and mud as well as improve handling. There’s also a new compound developed to provide better grip on the road and prolong the life of the tire.
A lot of attention was paid to the blocks of the tires, front and rear. At the back, the tire features Tilt Crown Technology, which uses alternating angle knobs on a single row to improve performance when more biting edges are needed. The front tire blocks were redesigned also in a staggered stair-step configuration for better grip, particularly on rocky surfaces.
Both front and rear tires are built with Dunlop’s Block-in-a-Block technology as well. This allow the knobs to be more flexible and increases the contact patch of each knob for better overall traction.
These tires are approved for highway use and for FIM Enduro races. The 2019 ISDE team from the US will be running the Enduro E91 tires as the official team tire, in fact.
