Italian brands Diesel and Alpinestars have paired up on a new line of casual clothing for men and women, available as part of Diesel's fall/winter 2019 line. The mini-capsule includes jackets, shirts, shoes, pants, and a skirt, all inspired by genuine riding gear.
According to Diesel, the line is a natural fit for the brand, owing to the inspiration it’s taken from moto-culture and motorcycle gear throughout its more than 40 years in business.

Items like the Astars-SKBoot, a high-top sneaker, exemplify the blending of motorcycle gear design and fashion, with the quick lace system hidden beneath two large straps, high ankles, faux toe sliders, heel protection, shift pads, and high-vis accents.
The Astars-LPatch-1B jacket is another item that celebrates the hallmarks of a top-quality riding jacket. It’s made entirely from calf leather and has faux external shoulder protectors and quilted reinforcements on the elbows. It’s also riddled with patches and logos, inspired by sponsor logos.
The Astars PTRE leather pants are similarly constructed but are lacking the preponderance of logos, the same goes for the Astars-SCinques leather mini skirt and Astars-LQuattro leather jacket. All make use of calfskin leather and incorporate design elements commonly found in riding gear.
A variety of sweatshirts, T-shirts, and polos are also available, uniting the line with consistent use of the sponsorship aesthetic.
