The SM is powered by the reliable 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine found in the DR-Z400S, but it’s tailored for a different kind of riding experience. The main differences between the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S are an inverted front fork, wide spoke-style wheels, and 300mm floating front brake rotor. These updates contribute to the SM’s agile handling and impressive stopping power, making it ideal for spirited rides through city streets or tight canyon roads.
The 2024 Suzuki DR-Z400SM is available in two color options: Solid Black or Grand Blue No. 2 and Solid Black for an MSRP of $7,899.
