Indian Motorcycle has been building some impressive bikes lately and the most recent addition to its lineup is the 2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty. Based on the popular Scout, the Bobber Sixty is powered by the same 78-hp V-twin but the chassis is lower, the fenders are meaner, and it’s 24 pounds leaner, which should make it even more exciting to ride. The best part is, the base-model Bobber Sixty has an MSRP of just $8,999. An ABS-equipped version is available for just $800 more while the fancier Thunder Black Smoke version rings in at $10,299.
Indian Motorcycle gave its popular Scout the bobber treatment, pared 24 pounds off the beast, and slathered it with blackened components from stem to stern. Oh, and you can pick one up right now for just $8,999.Indian Motorcycle
“Bringing a stripped-down, old-school Bobber priced at $8,999 is something we’re very excited about,” explains Reid Wilson, vice president of Indian Motorcycle. “We’re proud to provide such a dynamic offering at a price point that makes owning an Indian Motorcycle extremely attainable to an even wider range of riders.”
The new 2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty combines the popular 78-hp V-twin with a badass, low-slung, blacked-out design that simply looks good at speed or standing still.Indian Motorcycle
The bobber phenomenon appears to still be going strong within the motorcycle industry but the Sixty looks particularly appealing on paper and in photos. The five-spoke Bobber Sixty wheels looks like they rolled right off the RSD catalog, the LED lights and turn signals are trick, and a side-mounted license plate mount adds to the already customized appearance.
The 2020 Bobber Sixty gets its rugged good looks courtesy of a minimalistic design that includes black five-spoke wheels, a blacked-out 999cc V-twin engine, minimalist engine badging, and a stripped-down headlight.Indian Motorcycle
Add into the mix another 140 accessory options including a full exhaust system, extra padded single and passenger seats, plus who knows how many more hard parts in the queue and you have an excellent Bobber base to build a bitchin’ little bike. The Sixty is available at an Indian Motorcycle dealer near you and, in case you missed it the first few times, it will be offered at just $8,999.
Thanks to the low tracker-style handlebar, wide tires, lowered rear suspension, and cartridge fork, the Scout Bobber Sixty should be right at home touring the countryside as it is trolling the boulevards of Anytown, USA.Indian Motorcycle
