The Husqvarna TE 300i was introduced to the European market in 2018. One year later, the 300cc fuel-injected two-stroke enduro bike was brought to the United States and serves as the basis of the machine that Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Colton Haaker pilots in various hard enduros across the country.
In our review of the 2020 Husqvarna TE 300i, test rider Allan Brown was pleased with the bike’s overall performance and its potential with some minor modifications: “Overall, the Husqvarna TE 300i has a lot going for it. With a little personalization, such as suspension modifications and an aftermarket pipe, this diamond in the rough will polish up into a gem.”
Some competitors of the 2020 Husqvarna TE 300i are the 2020 KTM 300 XC-W TPI, 2020 TM EN 300 Fi, and 2020 Sherco 300 SE-R. With a price tag of $10,099, the TE 300i is the most expensive of the group.
Husqvarna made several changes to its flagship two-stroke enduro motorcycle for the new decade. The main updates include a new frame with increased longitudinal and torsional rigidity, a lighter two-piece subframe, revised suspension settings, and new bodywork. The fuel injected 293cc powerplant also received an updated cylinder and a new exhaust system.
