Harley-Davidson has ruled the roost in terms of touring motorcycles, one of its primary baggers being the burly Road Glide. Its easily identifiable shark-nose fairing along with fenders and saddlebags will make the ride more stylish, and the easily adjustable emulsion rear shocks and responsive front suspension will make it more comfortable.
The obvious Road Glide competition this year is the 2020 Indian Challenger. These two American touring motorcycles, the Road Glide Special and Challenger Dark Horse went head to head in this recent Cycle World comparison. In preparation for the aforementioned comparison, we threw the 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special on our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer to find that this model produced 76.13 hp at 4,810 rpm and 108.29 pound-feet of torque at 2,670 rpm.
No major updates for this year. This tourer comes in four variants: Standard ($21,699), Special ($27,299), Limited ($28,299), and CVO ($40,999). A total of 28 colors are available between the four.
