2017 Triumph Street Triple RCRS

The Triumph Street Triple is a naked bike or streetfighter style motorcycle that was first released in 2007. From 2007-2016, it featured Triumph’s popular 675 cc three-cylinder engine from the Daytona 675 supersport sportbike.

The Street Triple has always been a favorite amongst naked bike riders for its potent triple powerplant and surefooted handling. Despite being a little down on power in the later years of its existence, it was a package that continued to win comparisons for its sharp handling and proficiency on the track.

In 2017, it was updated with an all-new 765 cc three-cylinder motor, which produces 111 horsepower and 55.5 pound-feet of torque.

The R attached the name delineates the up-spec version of the bike which gets a fully adjustable big-piston fork, fully adjustable shock, upgraded brakes, and a full-color TFT screen.

The 2017 Triumph Street Triple R has a starting MSRP of $11,200 and is available in Jet Black, Crystal White, and Matte Aluminum Silver.

Thoughts from the Staff

“Triumph has done a super job calibrating its delivery modes labelled Rain, Road, and Sport, each offering full power output but with different throttle sensitivity. Even the Rain setting proved very usable, giving a connected feel without any initial lag or lull often characteristic of neutered delivery maps.” Don Canet - Editor, Cycle World Magazine
