Roland Sands Design 2017 Spring Motorcycle Jackets

Spring is in the air and with that comes new motorcycle gear. For Spring 2017 Roland Sands Design is rolling out a series of motorcycle jackets that are worthy of a peek. Take a look at the new color offerings and warm-weather alternatives in the new Ronin jacket that is offered in two color ways and the new perforated jackets such as the Ronin Perf, Clash Perf, and Walker Perf.

Ronin Jacket
New for Spring 2017, the Ronin jacket is offered in two new color ways featuring classic color blocking that pay homage to vintage race jackets.

Available in Steel/Black and Oxblood/Black, the new Ronin color blocked jackets are constructed of RSD’s legendary hand finished Airborne leather and feature a premium gold satin liner. This jacket is designed for an aggressive riding fit, but is also stylish enough when you are off your bike. The Ronin also features perforated leather interior trims and sleeve venting for the spring riding season. You can also carry your personal belongings in the soft-lined electronics security pocket and stretch mesh cargo stuff pockets, as well as a zip close interior chest pocket. Protection can also be added in the armor-ready shoulder, elbow, and back protector pockets.

Ronin Perf
Like the Ronin, the Ronin Perf features classic racer styling, but is fully perforated for when temperatures rise a bit. The front and rear panels are fully perforated and are finished in a premium goat leather. In order to further increase airflow, there is a blacked-out mesh liner that lends to the jacket's breathability. The rest of the jacket is made from hand-finished RSD Airborne leather that is both supple and protective. The Ronin Perf features many of the Ronin jacket features such as the aggressive riding fit with rotated, pre-curved sleeves, dropped back length and a relaxed collar opening. There are also the soft-lined electronics security pocket, stretch mesh cargo stuff pockets and the zippered interior chest pocket.

Clash Perf
The next RSD jacket is the Clash Perf. This jacket draws inspiration from the classic styling of 1959 with its detailed rocker look. For 2017, the Clash is available in a fully perforated version to maximize airflow and ventilation. The asymmetrical-designed front zipper attributes to the rocker look while the quilted stitched accents and the infamous coffin stitched elbow round out the design. This jacket is also made of RSD "Airborne" hand-finished, washed and oiled/waxed top grain cowhide and perforated goat leather venting panels with a satin poly mesh liner on the interior. The sleeves feature a zip pocket as well as zippered cuffs.

Offered in both Black and Oxblood color ways equipped with Black Ops trims.

Walker Perf
Another option from the Spring 2017 range is the Walker Perf which features fully perforated sleeves, front and back panels for maximum airflow. The body of the Walker is constructed of perforated matte finished buffalo leather that is soft and supple and requires very little break in. The interior of the jacket includes a blacked out mesh liner, stretch mesh cargo pockets, a soft lined electronic security pocket and is fully armor ready.
