Legendary Daredevil Makes First-Ever Appearance in the Coachella Valley Halloween Weekend; Ghostbusters Halloween Party Concert Saturday Night

COACHELLA, CA (July 2011) ... On Saturday, October 29, Robbie "Kaptain" Knievel, will attempt one of his world famous motorcycle jumps as Spotlight 29 Casino presents "Daredevil in the Desert." The jump at Spotlight 29 marks his first appearance ever in the Coachella Valley.

Knievel, the son of the late Evel Knievel, has over 250 professional jumps in his career. His jump will highlight a fun-filled Halloween weekend at the Casino.

A free, three-day outdoor festival will be held over the holiday weekend. Attendees will be treated to a classic car and motorcycle exhibition along with live music, vendors and motorcycle demonstrations. Various food and drinks will be available as well.

The weekend will be capped off with a concert Saturday night in the Spotlight 29 Casino Showroom. The "Ghostbusters Halloween Party" features Ray Parker Jr. and the Bus Boys with special guest Otis Day. Tickets for the concert are $25 each.
