Top 5 Things We Like About Fox Racing’s Defend Adventure Gear

We try out Fox Racing’s mid-tier Defend Adventure riding gear.

American motorcycle gear and casual fashion brand, Fox Racing returns to the streetbike world with its Defend adventure bike wares. The Defend line is positioned in the middle of its three model lineup (Ranger, Defend, and Recon) and is designed to go up against heavy-duty, all-weather riding gear like Klim, but with greater style. Here are the top five things we like about Fox Racing’s Defend line of adventure-touring gear.

  1. A heavy-duty Gore-Tex outer construction. This gear is said to do a great job of keeping you dry in wet-weather conditions.
  2. This Defend gear has very generous zippered ventilation pockets all through the pant and jacket. You’d be amazed how much air this jacket and pant flow on a hot day. It also has plenty of waterproof storage.
  3. This Defend gear has a very generous and relaxed fit. Its knee areas can also accommodate full-sized knee braces for all of us who like to wear knee braces when we’re out on the trail.
  4. This gear also includes removable D3O protection in the back, elbows, and shoulders area. We also have knee pads in there for added protection in case of an accident.
  5. If you’re looking for really functional adventure-touring gear from Fox, check out this Defend line with the jacket retailing at $700 and the pant at $650.
