SPEED TV and Fox Sports 1 To Show MotoGP

Finally, there's clarity on coverage of MotoGP in the U.S., with Fox Sports 1 (what SPEED will become in August) entering into a "multi year" deal to televise the premier racing series. With three rounds in the U.S. this year—Austin, Indianapolis, and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca—an American television component has been the only thing lacking.

Who will host? According to Fox, the U.S. rounds will have television veteran Bob Varsha working with either Ralph Sheheen or Jonathan Green in the play-by-play role, with Scott Russell providing analysis and Greg White roving the pits. For races outside of the U.S., SPEED/FS1 will pick up the world feed, with Gavin Emmett and Nick Harris at the microphone. We'll still have a stateside host for these races with Varsha, Sheheen or Greg Creamer or Dave Despain, depending upon the round.

MotoGP qualifying will continue to be streamed on SPEED2.
