Reed And TwoTwo Motorsports Ready For A1 Season opener

After an incredible debut season in 2011, Australian Chad Reed said his TwoTwo Motorsports team had undertaken the perfect lead-up to tomorrows opening round of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, at Anaheim's Angel Stadium.

[In stark contrast to the commencement of last season, when the newly formed team only had weeks to get ready for their first event, TwoTwo Motorsports has spent the past three months preparing for the 2012 season.

The team, which was bolstered during the off-season by the appointments of Mike Gosselaar and Sergio Avento, has also expanded its commercial partnerships.

As well as increased support from American Honda, Bel-Ray has confirmed an extension of their partnership with Chad Reed and TwoTwo Motorsports for the 2012 and 2013 racing season while Fox and Discount Tires are new additions to partner line-up for 2012.

"Personally I am really excited to finally get back to A1," Reed said. "It has been a long wait since Vegas 2011 and for the first time in many years I feel fully prepared for the start of the season.

“We’ve had a lot more months to prepare for the season this time around and the team has worked extremely hard to ensure we are 100% ready.

[“As a rider, coming into the season, I haven’t been with the same bike and group of people in a long time. We have more support from Honda and I think we have the best bike,” he continued.

“Our commitment to succeed in 2012 was underpinned with the addition of Goose and Sergio and we have also strengthened our commercial portfolio with Fox and Discount Tires joining our loyal group of partners.

“I really believe 2012 is our year to shine,” Reed concluded.

The opening round of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship will be held at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium tomorrow.
