Progressive optimizes mobile quoting for motorcycles, boats, RVs and more

**MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio **– Progressive® Insurance, the number one motorcycle insurer in the country and a leading insurer for boats and RVs, is expanding its optimized mobile quote and buy experience to a new group of vehicles. Owners of motorcycles, boats, RVs and powersports vehicles can now shop for insurance with all the speed and ease of the Progressive.com website, right on their smartphones.

“We know that people who ride, boat and camp like to stay on the move,” said Pat Callahan, recreational products general manager at Progressive. “With the ability to quote and buy policies on their mobile smartphones, motorcyclists, outdoorsman and recreational vehicle enthusiasts can protect their vehicles and lifestyle whenever and wherever they choose.”

Consumers can access mobile quoting and purchasing via the Progressive website on their mobile phone, just like they can with auto insurance. The new service is available in all states that offer Progressive coverage.

“Our goal is to give people who own boats, RVs and motorcycles another option when they shop for insurance,” said Matt Lehman, Progressive’s mobile business leader. “In a world that becomes more integrated with mobile devices each day, we are rolling out an on-the-go insurance option to as many people as possible.”
