Indian has announced a limited edition version of the Chief Vintage, inspired by 1940s styling, will be available sometime this August. The Polaris-owned company will produce just 35 units featuring the two-toned black and pearl white paint scheme.
New chrome accents including chromed highway pegs and an arrow-style shift rod help separate the LE version from the standard version. The 753-pound machine features a quick-release rear passenger backrest and luggage rack as standard, allowing one to go from cruiser to touring bike in no time.
Like the standard version, it comes with a 105-cubic-inch V-twin engine, six-speed transmission, leather saddlebags, and the iconic Indian Chief front fender. The MSRP starts at $37,899, a premium of $1900 over the standard Chief Vintage.
