Stelvio 1200 NTX Adventure-Tourer

Moto Guzzi came out with its three-model, retro-styled V7 lineup for 2013, with a revamped motor and a new matte-black Stone edition. Now we get confirmation that three of Guzzi's previous designs return for 2013.

The sportiest of the bunch, the Griso 8V SE carries a 110 horsepower and 80 lb.-ft of torque 1151cc 90 degree V-twin. The matte silver and black paint gives it a big bold look that will stand out from the sportbike crowd. The 488-pound Griso sits on 17-inch spoked wheels, with a single-sided swingarm, fully adjustable front and rear suspension and shaft drive. MSRP for the Griso 8V SE is $12,690 and is currently available at dealers nationwide.

Moto Guzzi also has brought back the Stelvio 1200 NTX to compete with the BMW R1200GS, Triumph Tiger Explorer, and Ducati Multistrada. Power is provided by a 1151cc 90 degree V-twin tuned with an emphasis on torque; it packs 105 bhp and 83 lb.-ft of torque. The 556 lb. Stelvio boasts an 8.5-gallon fuel tank for long hauls between fill-ups. Features include ABS brakes, traction control, aluminum side bags, aluminum crash protection, and hand guards as standard equipment. Colors options include Burnt Orange and Lava Black. The Stelvio 1200 NTX is available for $15,990 and will be arriving in dealers at the end of the year.

Norge GT 8V Tourer

And then there’s the Norge, Moto Guzzi’s sport-touring contender. Wearing the same eight-valve, air-cooled V-twin tuned for torque, the Norge is configured for long-distance running. The 542 lb. Norge comes with touring essentials such as heated grips, electronically adjustable windscreen, side bags, and ABS as standard. The Norge GT 8V is available in Competition Black or Pearl White and will arrive in dealers at the end of the year with an MSRP of $16,290.
