(Laconia, NH  --- May 29, 2012)  **The Broken Spoke Saloon, the world’s biggest biker bar, had their grand re-opening over Memorial Day and is preparing for another stellar year for Laconia Motorcycle Week 2012 with great events and concerts that include an appearance by local favorite John Cafferty. **

**The entertainment is already rolling with jazz group Arthur James & Northbound on Friday, June 1st. The fun then continues as country’s next big thing, Natalie Turgeon, takes the stage on Saturday, June 2nd. **

**Plans are already in place for the annual Laconia Motorcycle Week from June 9th through the 16th, with musical acts from Ferrell Webber to Jasmine Cain, and don’t forget everyone’s favorite, oil wrestling! Celebrate in style at the Broken Spoke Laconia, which will play host to some of the hottest musical acts all week including Spoke favorites, Joe Santana, Childz Play, Chris Fritz, Last Child and, now just added, legendary New England rocker John Cafferty. **

On Friday, June 15th, formed out of Narragansett, Rhode Island, local singer John Cafferty who was at the helm for two number one hits and three top 10’s, known then as John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, will be playing fan favorites, such as “On the Dark Side” and “Tender Years,” to “Tough All Over” and “C.I.T.Y.”

**Don’t miss the Broken Spoke’s female oil wrestling with some of the area’s hottest ladies, a baby pool, oil and a lucky volunteer from the audience to help the ladies get oiled and ready. Broken Spoke Saloon has been hard at work during the off-season, improving the property to give you the very best party in Weirs Beach.  There’s an outdoor entertainment area and the music has moved indoors – where it will be every weekend, all summer long.  And still with no cover! **
