An eyelet-equipped harness allows for permanent connection to battery terminals with convenient, proprietary sealed CTEK plug, or use the included alligator clips. Built-in test functions allow checks to battery health and motorcycle charging system operation. Lead-acid, flooded cell, absorbent glass mat, and lithium iron—if you've been battery shopping, you've likely heard of all of these flavors of batteries. That flexibility of charging a conventional lead-acid battery as well as lithium-iron types is a great feature of the Power Tender, but it's also nice that the charger can be switched between 6 or 12 volts and features reverse-hook-up protection, notifying you if you crossed up your positive and negative terminals.

The MBC010 is a 1-amp battery charger that comes with a ring-terminal-equipped quick-disconnect harness that you can leave attached to your battery for convenient plug-in. While this is a basic, low-cost smart charger, incorporated safety features include spark-proof connection and a reverse polarity guard, plus it protects against overcharging, short-circuiting, or going over temperature.
