You don’t have to spend a ton of money or buy an intimidating machine to enjoy trackdays or your favorite sporty road. KTM’s RC 390 has proven to be an agile, fun, and great-performing sportbike for years.
Power comes from a liquid-cooled 373cc four-stroke single with ride-by-wire-controlled fuel injection. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a PASC slipper clutch to a six-speed transmission. Electronic features include KTM’s Motorcycle Traction Control, Cornering ABS, a Supermoto ABS mode, and optional Quickshifter+.
Chassis highlights include the WP suspension with an Apex 43mm inverted fork, and monoshock. The fork has provisions for compression and rebound damping, while the shock has preload and rebound adjustability. The front braking system features a ByBre radial-mount four-piston caliper and 320mm disc.
The 2024 KTM RC 390 starts at $5,899.
