Welcome to the big leagues of minicycles. The 85cc two-stroke dirt bike is typically the last rung on the youth motocross ladder before reaching the full-size ranks of a 125cc two-stroke or 250cc four-stroke. It’s a big jump, which is why many manufacturers—KTM included—often offer two wheel sizes—standard (17/14 inches) and big wheel (19/16 inches). The same dirt bike is designed to accommodate either size wheel set so you can choose whichever best fits your young rider.
The 2025 KTM 85 SX receives major updates for 2025, starting with the lighter-weight engine, updated transmission, and new exhaust system. The chromoly frame is new, as is the WP Xact AER fork and PDS-mounted shock, both of which are fully adjustable. KTM left hardly anything untouched, from the swingarm to the subframe and even the footpegs. New bodywork and graphics wrap the new KTM 85 SX in an all-over lighter, slimmer, and more aggressive package.
The 2025 KTM 85 SX is available in standard size (17/14) for $6,749, and 19/16 for $7,049.
