All new for 2024, the KTM 390 Duke builds on one of the best entry-level packages out there. Not only is the 390 a great choice for newer riders, but it is one that won’t be soon outgrown, as it offers a fun performance, lightweight handling, and a ton of features.
The liquid-cooled LC4c single-cylinder engine offers excellent performance from its 399cc capacity, making a claimed 44 hp. The engine is fed by electronic fuel injection with a 46mm throttle body and ride-by-wire control. The bike has three ride modes, namely Street, Rain, and Track. Other rider aids include Launch Control, Cornering ABS, and Supermoto ABS as standard.
An all-new steel-trellis frame, pressure die-cast aluminum subframe, and cast aluminum swingarm make up the chassis. At the front is a 43mm WP Apex big piston fork with 5.9 inches of travel and compression and rebound adjustability, while a WP Apex shock with identical travel and preload adjustability is used at the rear. A radial-mount four-piston caliper and 320mm single disc is used up front, while a two-piston caliper and 240mm disc sit out back, both utilize cornering ABS and a Supermoto mode.
The 2024 KTM 390 Duke is available in orange or Atlantic Blue for $5,899.
