Suzuki Unveils 2012 Motorcycle and Scooter Lineup

BREA, Calif. October 24, 2011 - Suzuki is pleased to announce the unveiling of the full 2012 motorcycle and scooter lineup, with updated and new models joining the recently introduced 2012 V-Strom 650 ABS and 2012 motocross and off-road motorcycle lines.

The diverse line of 2012 Suzuki motorcycles and scooters was introduced at Suzuki's annual business meeting held this year at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

"We are excited to release a wide range of incredible Suzuki models for 2012," said Suzuki's Senior Communications Manager Steve Bortolamedi, "whether it's hitting the open highway or adventure touring on the new V-Strom 650 ABS - the 2012 Suzuki lineup has a motorcycle or scooter for everyone."

The 2012 Suzuki motorcycle models include updated Sportbike, Boulevard Cruiser, Dual Sport, Standard and Burgman scooter models.

In addition to the all-new 2012 V-Strom 650 ABS introduced earlier this year, a new 2012 V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure model will be available that provides a full touring package including hard saddlebags. The celebrated V-Strom 1000 model returns for 2012, along with a V-Strom 1000 Adventure model that also includes the full touring package. These adventure models are exclusive to the U.S. market and offer riders excellent versatility and convenience for adventure touring and long-distance riding.

Great riding doesn't have to stop where the road ends though - Suzuki's dual sport models for 2012 include the DR-Z400S and DR650SE. These versatile dual sport motorcycles offer class-leading features and technology to provide exceptional performance on the street or trail.
