Rugged New Mounts From Replay XD™

**Newbury Park, Calif. (March 10, 2011) **– There is nothing worse than coming off a record breaking run, blistering lap or an incredible ride and realizing that your camera used to capture every exhilarating second fell off somewhere along the way. Recognizing that this is a serious problem plaguing action sports enthusiasts, RePlay XD, maker of the world’s smallest and lightest action sports video camera, is pleased to announce a variety of new mounting options - each specifically engineered to provide maximum durability and mounting flexibility.

Billet-aluminum tubular mounts are now available for mountain bike, motorcycle, motorsport and off-road applications. The new tubular mounts offer 180-degrees of panning motion and different diameters are available to fit everything from roll bars to chassis bracing, handle bars and more. Prototypes have already been tested in the most grueling conditions on earth, including the Baja 1000 and the Bonneville Salt Flats at over 400mph, and the RePlayXD mounts held strong.

In direct response to demand from automotive and motorsports enthusiasts, two new auto mounts are also available: a magnetic mount and a suction cup mount. The magnetic mount uses a high-power rare earth magnet to attach to any ferrous surface (car fender, hood, chassis, etc) and thanks to the RePlay XD's light weight it provides a rock-solid mounting platform without the shake and "jelly" effect common with other camera mounting systems on the market. The suction cup mount offers similar rigidity, but will also work on glass, plastic and other non-metallic surfaces. Both feature heavy duty clips to hold the RePlayXD.
