Cycle Gear New Apparel 2016

Cycle Gear invited us to view their new line of gear for street , sport , and adventure . Here's the rundown on a few items that caught our attention:

The Sedici Viaggio ADV series offers a jacket, pants, and gloves for adventure touring. Both the jacket and pants’ outer shell is made of ADV-Dualcore 500 and Tuff-Pro abrasion-resistant panels. They are 100 percent waterproof with breathable Drysure lining. This jacket and pant set is adjustable in the sleeves, torso, and waist. Lots of cargo pockets top and bottom provide plenty of places to stash necessities, including a cargo pocket at the back. The Viaggio pants also have double zip entry at the ankle. CE-Approved armor is included at the shoulders, elbows, and knees, and memory foam protects the back.

The Sedici Viaggio ADV Series Jacket is available in men’s sizes S-5XL, is available in Stone/Black, and Stone/Blue, and retails for $299.99. The Sedici Viaggio ADV Series Pants come in men’s sizes 28-40”, are available in Stone/Black or Stone/Blue, and retail for $199.99

The Sedici Viaggio ADV gloves, made of 600 denier and a 100 percent waterproof breathable membrane, offer leather finger overlays and thermoset knuckles. They are available in men’s sizes SM-3XL, and come in one color: Stone/Black. Retail: $59.99

The Sedici Maximo Adventure Boots are made of full grain leather with rubber gripper soles. They’re lined with 100 percent waterproof breathable Hipora, are available in black, come in men’s US sizes 8-13, and retail for $149.99

The Sedici Terreno ADV series jacket, pants, and gloves offer a vented option for adventure touring. The jacket is made of Airpro mesh and ADV-Dualcore 500 outer material, has a 100 percent waterproof breathable Drysure lining, quilted satin liner, adjustments at waist and sleeves, and a large rear pocket. With reflective piping, CE-approved shoulder and elbow armor, and memory foam back panel, the Terreno ADV jacket comes in Black and Stone/Black, and is offered in men’s US size S - 5XL for $179.99.

The Terreno ADV pants are also made of Airpro mesh plus ADV-Dualcore 500 outer material with Tuff-Pro panels. They come with a 100 percent waterproof breathable Drysure lining, and detachable quilted satin liner, and zip entry hip pockets. They are offered in one color: black, and retail for $139.99

The Sedici Terreno ADV series gloves are made of 600 denier construction, with a full grain leather palm and suede overlays. They offer a 100 percent waterproof breathable membrane and leather finger overlays. The Terreno ADV gloves are available in men’s sizes S–XXXL, offered in Stone/Black, Blue/Black, and Black, and retail for $49.99.

The Sedici Avventura helmet is made of Kevlar-reinforced fiberglass, and has a removable polycarbonate visor and anti-fog faceshield. It’s equipped with a removable washable liner, has adjustable forehead and cheek pads, and vents at the chin and forehead. The Avventura helmet comes in sizes XS – 2XL, available in Matt Black or Pearl White, and is priced at $179.99.

The Sedici Avventura carbon fiber helmet is constructed of Kevlar-reinforced carbon fiber, and has a polycarbonate visor and anti-fog faceshield. Ventilation is provided at the chin and forehead, with multi-port exhaust vents. The forehead and cheek pads are adjustable, and the liner is washable. It comes in sizes XS – 2XL, and is offered in Carbon for $279.99 or Carbon Flo (with day-glow graphics) for $299.99.

The Street & Steel Westwood leather jacket is available for men and women. It’s made of oiled finish leather outer, with a nylon twill lining. It comes with removable Vault C.E. shoulder, elbow and spine protection, and Loop’d pants attachment feature. With Antique brass accents and reflective stripe, the jacket comes in Men’s SM-3XL, and is available in oxblood, black, or brown for $299.99. The women’s jacket is only available in black, but has a hooded vest liner. It’s available in Women’s sizes XS-2XL for $299.99.

The Street & Steel Richmond boots are made of waxed finish top-grain leather, with a leather lining. Made of Goodyear Welt construction, and an anti-slip sole, these boots offer a wide fit. They’re available in men’s US sizes 8-13, and are available in black or brown for $129.99.

The Street & Steel Kickstarter gloves are made of a heavy weight textile, with a full leather palm. Integrated, injection molded knuckles give hands much needed protection, and have a pre-curved shape for riding comfort. Elastic stretch panels on fingers, and hook and loop closure ensure a good fit. They are offered in men’s sizes SM – 3XL, and come in black for $39.99.

The Sedici Ultimo gloves are made of full grain leather, with perforated inset panels, and full leather palms. Fingers are pre-curved, with thermo-set protection, while the cantilevered carbon knuckles allow hands to breathe with metal mesh vents. The heel has double layer leather for abrasion resistance, and inset memory foam padding for impact protection. The Ultimo gloves come in men’s sizes S-3XL, and are offered in black, white/black, red/black, and blue/black for $79.99.

The Sedici Sistema helmet is made of fiberglass and Kevlar with a modular chin piece, transforming it from full face to three-quarter. Its quick release face shield is both anti-fog and anti-scratch, and is augmented by a inner drop-down tinted sun shield. Chin and crown vents increase airflow, while a removable washable anti-bacterial liner helps keep the helmet fresh. The Sistema is available in sizes XS – 2XL, and comes in black, matte black, white, silver, Fluoro Yellow, or black/white Finitura graphic for $199.99. A carbon and matte carbon version of the Sistema is also available for $329.99.
