BMW’s entry-level ADV bike arrives with a 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a claimed 34 hp at 9,250 rpm and 20 lb.-ft. of torque at 7,500 rpm. This is enough for a top speed of 88 mph. The DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine features a backward-facing cylinder and cylinder head like in the G 310 R that lowers the center of gravity, enhancing stability and improving handling on challenging trails and tight urban routes. A six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch ensures smooth gear changes and precise control.

A 41mm inverted fork and rear spring with preload adjustment handle suspension duties, the little GS offers 7.1 inches of travel front and rear. The bike’s cast aluminum 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels are fitted with dual-purpose tires. The braking system includes a 300mm single front disc and a 240mm rear disc, equipped with ABS, ensuring reliable stopping power.

The G 310 GS features a full LED lighting system, an adjustable windscreen, and an LCD instrument cluster that provides clear readouts, keeping riders informed of essential data, including speed, fuel level, and gear position.

With its upright riding position and styling taken directly from its older sibling, the R 1250 GS, the G 310 GS arrives with a 32.8-inch seat and many options, including a low or high seat, heated grips, and a top case.
