Valentino Rossi's Dainese racing gear, boots, suit and gloves will be sold on e-Bay once agian, just like in 2005, when the suit worn by the 7 times World Champion during the Sachsenring MotoGP, was sold for 38,850 euros to a British collector. Last year, the auction began on 27 October, 2005, in the charities section of eBay.it; in the 7 days it remained open it was visited by more than 88 thousand users, 120 who bid.
Dainese devoted the funds to finance a scholarship for a project on motorcycle safety, in co-operation with the University of Padua. From a crash, a champion can still put a smile on his face. And a dream, can begin from that smile. Starting December 6, 2006, the gloves, boots, and racing suit that Valentino Rossi was wearing when he fell in Valencia will be placed on auction on e-Bay to support the renovation of the Abbey of San Gerolamo di Quarto near the Gaslini Hospital in Genova, the largest children's hospital in Italy.
