Avon Tyres Supports Garage-Girls Contest Winner

Stow, OH – Avon Tyres is proud to present a new set of tires to this year's winner of the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover contest, Leah Misch of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Misch, an American Red Cross volunteer, shared her story of traveling nearly 17,000 miles on her bike this year. Her entry was one of more than 60 that were submitted by men and women from across the nation.

Misch faced challenges like dangerous weather while traveling solo, and ultimately wore her gear thin.

“We offer sincere congratulations to Leah on earning the prize package to continue her journey,” stated Ken Warner, Vice President of Marketing for Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America. “It’s great to read her story and to support her by contributing a great set of tires.”

This is the fifth year that Avon Tyres has been a sponsor of the annual contest, which requires submission of a photo and a 600-word essay sharing a personal story in order to be eligible to win.

Misch will receive a hefty prize package that includes a set of Avon tires along with products from Harley-Davidson, Spectro Performance Oils, Mustang, Hijinx Apparel, J&P Cycles, Vance and Hines, S&S Cycle, Klock Werks, Baker Drivetrain and more.
