Ducati has just announced the latest color options for the 2020 Monster 1200 S. It will be offered in a new Black on Black version as well as the traditional Ducati Red. The Monster series has been a huge hit for Ducati ever since it was introduced back in 1993. These days the original "naked bike" has evolved into a complete line-up with no less than six options for beginners and hard-core riders alike. The Monster family includes the entry-level and still air-cooled 797. Water-cooled versions include the 821 as well as the high-performance 1200 S and 1200 R.

The 1200 S is the manufacturer's top-shelf version that showcases its trick hardware and software which includes the latest Testastretta 11° engine, slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, ABS Cornering, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Öhlins suspension, Brembo M50 brakes, and of course a healthy dose of sex appeal from the bodywork and chassis. The Monster S oozes class whether it's moving or sitting still.
The bike was updated in 2017 so there was not a lot of need to dig into the model this year, but you can be sure it still offers up the type of thrill ride that only a Monster provides.
