KTM builds on the release of its new midsize LC8c parallel twin platform with the introduction of a new motorcycling Swiss army knife: the 2019 790 Adventure. Engineered for the rigors of, well, anything, this standard, non R-spec model is the more road-focused solutions in KTM's middleweight adventure lineup.
The 2019 790 Adventure was initially developed along with the KTM's 790 Duke. It features a tweaked version of the 799cc powerplant, with a couple of enhancements, to give the engine more torque and added rideability at lower rpm.
Because it’s an adventure bike, the chassis and engine cooling system use heavy-duty componentry to ensure the 790 Adventure is capable of carrying both rider and passenger to their destination, wherever that may be.
For us, the destination is the Motorcyclist office in Southern California. Tag along with us in this review and share with us your thoughts on this midsize ADV bike in the comments section below.
