Compared to stock, the Alpha T sheds nearly 4 pounds (stock weighs in at 8.9 pounds and the stainless Alpha-T comes in at a claimed 5.0 pounds). The Alpha T also increases horsepower at max 4.5 percent with a max torque of 4.2 percent (both claimed). Add the tone of the Alpha T and the exhaust might make other riders think that the Z900 belongs in another category. The Alpha T is available in a Works Finish stainless/carbon fiber configuration, complete with a carbon fiber heel guard and a custom Yoshimura heat shield. The Alpha T is made in the USA and is 50-states emissions legal.
Also available is the Fender Eliminator kit that can clean up the back of the Z900 just the way you want.
