First Look: 2017 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro

Ducati raids the parts catalog to make the Multistrada Enduro even more ready for adventure.

It’s more than just fancy paint. With Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires fitted as standard (120/70 R19 at the front and 170/60 R17 at the rear), the new Enduro Pro promises to be sure-footed in the loose stuff. That sand-colored paint has a rough finish to complement the off-road vibe and looks cool with the new, grippy two-tone seat and blacked out subframe and alternator and clutch covers.Photo: Ducati

Ducati introduces the Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro, adding even more ADV accoutrements to the already capable Multistrada 1200 Enduro.

When Ducati introduced the Multistrada 1200 Enduro for 2016, it served as proof that Ducati wasn't afraid to commit to the Swiss Army Knife ethos hinted at by the original Multistrada 1200. Keen to delve deeper off-road and tap into the go-anywhere, find-your-own adventure mindset that's so alluring to motorcyclists, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro—with its stouter swingarm and suspension, larger tires and fuel tank (in addition to other changes)—has proved a competent partner for wherever the road may take you, from actual jungle to concrete jungle. The Enduro Pro turns it up to 11.

The Enduro Pro has the same 152 hp engine with variable valve timing as its 1200 Multistrada siblings. All the techno-wizardry comes along too, making you feel like a hero when the going gets rough.Photo: Ducati
